The International Association of Integrative Therapy (IAIT) will host the 2026 Winter IAIT Conference on January 11, 2026 (Sun), 1:00–6:00 PM, at Gukbo 4F, Daeheung-dong, Jung-gu, Daejeon. Under the theme “Connecting Neuro-Somatic Evidence and Proving It in the Field,” the conference aims to translate yoga- and Pilates-based therapeutic practice into measurable physiology and reproducible programs—linking breathing, rhythm, neuromuscular control, alignment, recovery, and natural healing to evidence that can be observed, tested, and taught.

IAIT highlights two core principles: measurement and reproducibility. Presentations emphasize quantifiable indicators—such as HRV, breathing patterns, pain scales, functional movement, and alignment changes—to explain before-and-after outcomes. At the same time, speakers focus on designing interventions that other instructors can implement consistently through shared principles and protocols. IAIT notes that in an AI-driven era—where information is summarized and recommended automatically—professionals must be able to explain their methods in an evidence-based language, turning personal know-how into scalable standards.

The program opens with a keynote by President Professor Han Se-young (1:00–1:30), followed by three sessions. Session 1: Regulation & Resonance (1:35–2:35) explores autonomic regulation through breath and rhythm, including a review of chest-expansion asana combined with lavender application for respiratory stability and HRV, the neurological rationale of rhythm-based Music Pilates Flow, and comparative research on So’ham meditation and breath-mantra integration. Session 2: Clinical Recovery & Life-Stage Restoration (2:40–4:20) addresses real-world clinical questions with current evidence, covering wall-based therapeutic yoga for low-back recovery, apparatus Pilates for chronic low-back pain, Pilates-based strategies for menopause-related sarcopenia and quality of life, potential effects of Wall Yoga on adolescent growth-plate stimulation, and integrative natural-healing approaches for functional dyspepsia centered on intestinal mucosal barrier restoration. Session 3: Neuro-Motor Control & Functional Alignment Design (4:30–5:50) reframes alignment and movement training through neuroscience, featuring Neuropilates theory and application, progressive resistance protocols for rotator-cuff-related shoulder pain, a biomechanical “three-point functional alignment” model (cranium–ribcage–pelvis interdependence), and evidence on apparatus Pilates for flat-footed adults, arch height, and patellofemoral pain.

IAIT positions the event as a participatory conference open to instructors, studio owners, therapy and coaching professionals, and students. The organizing team also plans to extend conference outputs beyond the venue—into papers, practical publications, curriculum development, and media distribution—to strengthen trust, standardization, and professional recognition. Registration is open to all, with an attendance fee of KRW 10,000 via IAIT’s official channels.
